Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. Rowan-Cabarrus Community College was first accredited by SACSCOC in 1970. Organized under the North Carolina Community College system, the College has accountability to the state as well as to other federal and state accrediting agencies. Our institution will seek SACSCOC reaffirmation in 2025.

The basic law enforcement training program is accredited by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education Training and Standards Division.

Cosmetology

The cosmetology program is accredited by the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts.

 

Dental Assisting Program

The program in dental assisting is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and has been granted the accreditation status of “approval without reporting requirements.”
